Recommendation: Take the Browns Pre-Game Spread and Live Double
The Browns are coming off an embarrassing performance – the Steelers showed up and showed out at home as expected with a 7-38 win. The Browns put up one touchdown in the second quarter and did not score a point in the second-half. When the Browns can run the ball effectively that opens up throwing lanes down the field for Mayfield who has looked like a different QB with more arm strength and accuracy. The zip is back. You can bet the offense wants to make a statement with all the play makers on that side of the ball. We expect to see at least 2 TDs from Mayfield and at least 30 points from the offense.
The Bengals are coming off a heartbreaking loss where they had plenty of chances to win. You can checkout our full analysis of the comeback here. With an offense that has proven it can put up points the Browns defense will need to come prepared and ready to play. Plus, Joe Mixon has been ruled out. There’s enough motivation here with last week’s blowout loss, the in-state bragging right factor and the chance to pounce on rookie QB Joe Burrow. We expect to see 1-2 turnovers and the less than 20 points given up by the Browns defense.
